My fascination for horses found its expression in photography only after I finished my studies. Before, I rode horses, I worked as a riding master and I juged equestrian competitions.
Little by little the photography dominated my life. Since ten years I don’t part with my camera, which accompany me in my travels to the most distant places in Poland where I search for horses and exquisite landscapes. These sessions give me the most joy, because I am convinced it is the best way you can show the beauty of animals which since ages were considered for the symbol of liberty. Many hours I spent on the pasture allowed me to learn more about horses and their behaviors what helps me very much in my work.
The really challenge and not easy exam for me was the work over my first album “Arabians – Janów Podlaski, Michałów, Białka” which lasted three years. I have then an occasion to observe how an American photographer Stuart Vesty was working taking photos for the sale catalogue in Janów Podlaski Stud and it was a great lesson of classical Arabians photography for me. It was also the time I was taking farm shoots for the Janów Podlaski Stud – the work that requested a lot of patience and humility. I consider this experience as invaluable up till now.
